I'm looking for a few good books, besides the new one from Meira Levinson, that include a look at civic education for high school students. I'm also familiar with the one Diane Ravitch co-edited.
Recommendations greatly appreciated. This is for a couple of columns I'm working on.

I recommend, "Teaching History for the Common Good" by Barton and Levstik. They evaluate different ways to teach history through the lens of participatory, pluralist democracy.
